Get Answers to Your Questions

What makes permanent outdoor lighting different from string-up holiday lights?

It's professionally installed along your roofline, soffits, or fascia on discreet mounting tracks that blend into your home's exterior — virtually invisible by day. The weatherproof LEDs and wiring stay in place year-round, with no annual untangling or ladder climbing. Colors, patterns, and schedules are all set from a smartphone app.

How do I control and customize the lighting effects?

Through a mobile app — change individual colors, run dynamic patterns like fade or chase, adjust brightness, and schedule lighting to turn on, off, or switch looks automatically. Many systems let you control different zones of the house separately.

How long do these lights last, and what kind of warranty is offered?

Quality LED systems are typically rated for 25,000–100,000 hours of use — realistically, many years of regular nightly running.

Are permanent lighting systems energy-efficient and safe for year-round use?

Yes — LEDs use a fraction of the electricity incandescent bulbs do, and a whole-home system often runs for just a few dollars a month. Systems are weatherproofed and smart-controlled, with wiring hidden or protected to stay safe in every season.
